This privacy policy applies to the DogWeight Tracker mobile application (the "Application") developed and operated by Victor M. Garcia Ortega (the "Service Provider").

User-Provided Pet Data & Local Storage

The Application does not require account registration or identity verification. All pet profile information, birth dates, weight entries, photos, and notes are stored locally on your device. The Service Provider does not transmit, store, or process your pet records on external company servers.

Document Exports & Optional Cloud Backup

• File Exports (PDF & Excel/XLSX): When you export individual dog health cards (PDF) or multi-dog logs (XLSX), the documents are generated directly on your device. You maintain full control over sharing or transferring these files via standard system sharing options.
• Google Drive Backup: If you choose to enable optional cloud backups, the Application connects directly to your private Google Drive account using Google's secure authorization APIs to save and retrieve your backup files. The Service Provider never accesses, views, or retains your Google credentials or your pet backup files.

Information Collection, In-App Purchases, and Advertisements

The Application utilizes trusted third-party SDKs to facilitate in-app purchases and serve advertisements in the free tier. These third parties may automatically collect non-personally identifiable diagnostic and device information, such as:

• Your device's Internet Protocol (IP) address
• Device identifiers (such as IDFA where permitted, or network identifiers)
• Operating system version and device model

Tracking and European Privacy Consent (GDPR / UMP)

For users located in the European Economic Area (EEA) and the UK, the Application implements Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) SDK to manage consent for personalized ads and identifiers. You can update or revoke your preferences at any time through the in-app settings or via your iOS device privacy settings.

Data Deletion and Opt-Out

Because your pet data is stored locally, uninstalling the Application removes all local weight entries, logs, and photos from your device. You can manage or delete backup files stored in Google Drive directly through your personal Google Drive storage. Children’s Privacy

The Application is not directed to children under 16 years of age. The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us at redpolasapp@gmail.com so we can delete the information promptly.

Security

The Service Provider provides standard administrative and technical safeguards to preserve the confidentiality and security of any information processed.
